  Spencer - Services for Susie Freeman, of Spencer, who died Monday at her residence, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Salem Separate Baptist Church, with the Revs. Russell Peterson and Ed Tharpe officiating. Burial will be in Gross Cemetery. Born Dec. 5, 1899, in Owen County, she was the daughter of Sam & Catherine (McGillivray) Miller. She was a member of the Salem Separate Baptist Church and the Ladies Aid Society. Survivors include two daughters, Martha Shirley of Columbus and Virginia Nunnally of Lebanon, five sons, David of Edinburgh, Glenn of Bloomington, John of Spencer, and Robert & Harry, both of R. 3, Spencer, one brother, Sam Miller at Friendly Hearth Nursing Home in Spencer; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Pikey" Freeman in Jan. 1980; four sisters, three brothers and three grandchildren.
