      Grace Truman Boyd Dody, 90, the youngest of eight children born to John Franklin and Landona Wears Boyd, was born July 2, 1896, near Brownington, Missouri, and passed away March 17,1987, at her home in Clinton, having lived her entire life in Henry County. She was converted and joined the Bethlehem Baptist Church when she was 12 years old, giving and living her life for Jesus. She taught a Sunday School class for many years. She was united in marriage to Christopher Dundy Dody, December 24, 1913, and to this union, six children were born. Two sons, Leroy and Everette, and her husband, Chris, preceded her in death. Survivors include Ivonne Huey, Wilma Ross, Dwight Dody, Clinton, and Glenn Dody, Austin, Texas, fifteen grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. She was an excellent cook, homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was always there, ready to help anyone who needed her - making each grandchild feel "special." Never did she miss a birthday or other occasion. She was clerk of Richland School District for a number of years, always interested in church and school activities as well as world affairs. She was an avid reader, reading her Bible from beginning to end many times. Services were conducted Friday, March 20, 1987, at Consalus Funeral Home. Pall bearers were grandsons Merrill Huey, Keith, Kenneth and Karl Ross, Ray, Galen and Mark Dody. Interment was in Englewood Cemetery.
