    • John Albert Kluesner Jr., 79, of Terre Haute, passed away late Wednesday night, Sept. 17, 2008, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

      He was born on Aug. 31, 1929, in Terre Haute, the son of John Albert Kluesner and Lola Edna (Wilkes) Kluesner.
      He married Deloris Ann Moore and she survives.

      John had served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He worked in the coal mines and then worked as a mechanic for Anderson Springs in Indianapolis. He was a former member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 972. His also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

      Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Karen Huskisson and Kathy Kluesner and her companion George Streeter, all of Terre Haute; a son, Albert Kluesner of Terre Haute; seven grandchildren, Kevin Luke, Angel Kluesner, Amber Luke, Tabitha Huskisson, Brandy Judd and fianc?Mike McMillin, Misty Judd, and Joseph Judd and wife Melonie; 13 great-grandchildren, Alan Kluesner, Kayla Kelly, Devon Kluesner, Damion Kluesner, Deann Kluesner, Dakota Kluesner, Summer Chapman, Lexus Huskisson, Raven Bell, Hayden Hollifield, Braydon Kluesner, Kiarra McMillin, and Michael McMillin; sisters, Lola Moore of Sugarland, Texas, Patricia Conroe of Texas and Wanda Orndorff of Martinsville, Ill.; a brother, Marion Kluesner of Texas; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Joe, Jim and Ralph Kluesner; and three sisters, Vivian Foust, Lottie Williams and Ellen Elrod.

      Visitation will be held Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. in Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St.

      Services are Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Arthur Orndorff officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park with military graveside rites conducted by Terre Haute VFW Post 972.
