    • DUGGER -- James C. Kluesner, 70, of Dugger died on Thursday, May 27, 2004, in his residence. He was born December 24, 1933 in Sullivan County to Hugh F. and Jessie Behem Kluesner. He retired from Crane Naval Ammunition Depot in 1995, and was owner and operator of Black Creek Cabins and Pottery in Dugger. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Loretta Wright Kluesner; a son, Tony Kluesner and wife Donna of Linton; two daughters, Meleah Keller and husband Bill, Tish Millick and husband David, all of Linton; one sister, Rose M. Dorney of Lawrenceville, Ill.; two brothers, Hugh F. Kluesner Jr. of Bedford, and Mike Kluesner of Dugger; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was a 1951 graduate of Pleasantville High School. He was member of First Christian Church in Linton, and formerly taught Sunday School at First Assembly of God and First Christian Church, both in Linton, and previously served as a member of the Gideons. Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday in Newkirk's Funeral Home, Dugger with the Revs. John Booker and Paul Jones officiating, and additional eulogy by the Rev. Mike Chapman. Burial is in Pleasantville Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, and 1 p.m. until services Tuesday.

    • James C. Kluesner, 70, of Dugger, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 27, 2004, at his residence.

      Born December 24, 1933 in Sullivan County, he was the son of Hugh F. and Jessie (Behem) Kluesner.

      He was a graduate of Pleasantville High School in 1951. Retired from Crane Naval Ammunition Depot in 1995, he was owner and operator of Black Creek Cabins and Pottery at Dugger. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Linton and formerly taught Sunday School at the First Assembly of God and First Christian Church of Linton. He previously served as a member of the Gideons.

      Survivors include: his wife of fifty years, Loretta Wright Kluesner; one son Tony and his wife Donna of Linton; two daughters, Meleah Keller and her husband Bill and Tish Millick and her husband David, both of Linton; one sister Rose M. Dorney of Lawrenceville, Ill.; two brothers, Hugh F. Kluesner Jr. of Bedford, Mike Kluesner of Dugger; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

      Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Newkirk Funeral Home with Rev. John Booker and Rev Paul Jones officiating. An additional eulogy will be by Pastor Mike Chapman. Burial will be in the Pleasantville Cemetery.

      Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. on Monday and after 1 p.m. Tuesday until the hour of service.
